GSA Awards Coast and Harbor Blanket Purchase Agreement In September 2009, CHA was awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) through GSA Schedule 871-7 to provide construction management/project management services for renovation projects above $3 million and new construction projects above $5 million owned and/or leased by the General Services Administration (GSA) and located in Zones A and B. Zone A consists of the following areas: New England Region (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont), Northeast and Caribbean (New York, New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), Mid-Atlantic Region (Delaware, Maryland (excluding Montgomery and Prince George’s counties), southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia (excluding the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, and Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon and Prince William counties), and West Virginia) and National Capital Region/Central Office (D.C. Metro). Zone B consists of the following areas: Southeast Region (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee), Great Lakes Region (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin), Heartland Region (Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska), and the Greater Southwest Region (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas). The BPA has a duration of five years and will expire in 2014. GSA Awards Coast and Harbor Construction Management as Agent (CMa) Contract for New Border Station in Derby Line, Vermont Coast and Harbor Associates (CHA) will be performing design management, and construction management for a new $30 million border facility in Derby Line, Vermont. The design management services will include assisting GSA with coordination of the design process, review of design documents, value engineering, cost estimating, constructibility review, and schedule analysis. Following completion of design, CHA will provide all a full set of construction management services during the construction of the facility. US Army Corps of Engineers Awards Coast and Harbor Second Task Order Under Construction Management Support Services Contract Coast And Harbor Associates will provide construction management support services to the US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. The second task order has CHA providing Construction Management oversight for the new construction of the Acquisition Management Building at Hanscom Air Force base in Bedford, MA. Conrad Menard Joins Coast And Harbor Coast and Harbor welcomes Conrad Menard as a new employee. Mr. Menard will be the on-site Construction Manager for the new Acquisition Management Building at Hanscom Air Force base. Mr. Menard has over 40 years of experience in diverse construction projects. US Army Corps of Engineers Awards Coast and Harbor Construction Management Support Services Contract Coast And Harbor Associates will provide construction management support services to the US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. The first order under this contract involves supporting the environmental remediation of the Massachusetts Military Reservation. CHA Providing Project Management Services on New Wellesley, MA HIgh School CHA is providing project management services on this $100 million high school project, including design review, estimating, permitting, and pre-qualification of contractors and subcontractors. During construction, CHA will provide on-site construction management services. GSA Awards Coast and Harbor Construction Management as Agent Contract for New Border Station in El Paso, Texas Coast and Harbor will be performing design management, construction management, and commissioning services for a new $67 million border facility in El Paso, Texas. The design management services will include assisting GSA with coordination of the design process, review of design documents, value engineering, cost estimating, constructibility review, and schedule analysis. Following completion of design, CHA will provide all a full set of construction management services during the construction of the facility. During design and construction, CHA will be providing commissioning services. Tony Pacifico Joins Coast And Harbor Coast and Harbor welcomes Tony Pacifico as a new employee. Mr. Pacifico will be the Project Manager for the new Tornillo-Guadalupe Land Port of Entry. Mr. Pacifico, a registered professional engineer with over 25 years of experience in diverse, large and small, private and public sector projects in the transportation, petrochemical, power, water/wastewater treatment, building and environmental fields. Andy Herbine Joins Coast And Harbor Coast and Harbor welcomes Andy Herbine as a new employee. Mr. Herbine will be the Project Manager for the new Border Station in Calais, Maine. Mr. Herbine's projects include the construction of schools, high rise buildings, and administrative buildings; as well as projects that involved site development, design and construction of roadways, utilities, water and sewer systems and storm water management systems. GSA Awards Coast and Harbor Contract to Provide Construction Management Services Through the GSA Schedule GSA has awarded a contract to Coast and Harbor to provide a full range of construction management services through the GSA Schedule. The GSA Schedule is the mechanism by which all federal agencies can purchase goods and services from vendors prequalified by GSA. Getting on the GSA Schedule represents an opportunity for all federal agencies to procure Coast and Harbor's construction management services directly from the Schedule.
